N2XH-J/O low smoke zero halogen unarmoured power cables are designed for fixed power and control industrial use where protection against mechanical damage is not required. They have solid or stranded plain copper conductors, XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulation and a black LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath as standard. The cable is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation as well as in concrete but not for direct burial in earth or immersion in water.

voltage rating:

600/1000V operating
4000V test
temperature range:

+5°C to +50°C flexible
-30°C to +70°C static
bend radius:
12 x overall diameter
stranding:

RE = solid round conductor
RM = stranded round conductor
SM = stranded sectorial conductor
core marking:

1 to 5 cores coloured to VDE 0293

These cables are also referred to as:
LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) , LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen),
LSF (Low Smoke and Fume) and OHLS (Zero Halogen Low Smoke)

Note: LSF may mean modified PVC which can give off up to 18%
HCL (Hydrogen Chloride) emissions. Whereas the term Zero Halogen
ensures that the cables give off less than 0.5% HCL emissions.
Please ask if you have a specific requirement.

This cable type is also available with a PVC sheath, see NYY-J (mutlicore) or NYY-O (single core)
