XLPE/SWA/LSZH low smoke zero halogen armoured power cable

   Minimize

XLPE/SWA/LSZH low smoke zero halogen armoured power cables are designed for increased safety in the case of a fire due to reduction in hazardous fumes which can cause injury when inhaled and reduction in corrosive chemicals which can cause damage to electronics. They have class 2 stranded plain copper conductors, XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulation, SWA (steel wire armour) and a black LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath as standard. The cable is suitable for fixed power and control industrial use where protection against mechanical damage is required, for use in indoor, outdoor and underground installations.

These cables are also referred to as:
LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) , LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen),
LSF (Low Smoke and Fume) and OHLS (Zero Halogen Low Smoke)

Note: LSF may mean modified PVC which can give off up to 18%
HCL (Hydrogen Chloride) emissions. Whereas the term Zero Halogen
ensures that the cables give off less than 0.5% HCL emissions.
Please ask if you have a specific requirement.

This cable type is also available with a polyvinylchloride sheath, see XLPE/SWA/PVC
