NYCY single or multicore screened PVC power cables are designed for fixed power and control use where protection is required against electronic interference. They have solid or stranded plain copper conductors, PVC (polyvinylchloride) insulation, stranded copper wire screen with one or two counter tapes and a black flame retardant hardened PVC sheath as standard. The cable is suitable for use in outdoor and underground installations and the concentric wire can be used as mechanical protection.
