CW1128-1179-1198 jelly filled, screened and armoured telephone cables are suitable for installation outdoors, running in ducting and for direct burial. The aluminium tape provides high levels of protection against electrical interference making these cables suitable for use when screening is required. They have 0.9mm diameter solid plain copper cores twisted into pairs, PE (polyethylene) insulation, petroleum jelly filling, aluminium foil tape screen, PE bedding, galvanised SWA (steel wire armour) and a black PE sheath as standard. The outer sheath is UV and sunlight resistant, the petroleum jelly protects against water ingress and the steel wire armour protects against mechanical damage.
