CW1308 internal-external telephone cable is manufactured to British Telecom Specification CW1308. These cables are used to interconnect equipment for fixed installations. They have 0.5mm diameter solid tinned copper cores twisted into pairs, PVC insulation and PVC sheath as standard. Cable with a white outer is suitable for internal use only. Cable with a black outer is suitable for above ground external use (e.g. on walls) this cable not suitable for submersion in water and should not be fitted in vulnerable areas. These cables are not designed for duct or direct burial usage.
