Central Cables is the sole UK distributor for Texiline HF cables, a range of high quality, flexible, halogen free panel wire with DNV Certificate for use on ships and offshore facilities. Manufactured by The Amo Cable Group in Europe these are alternatives to Radox 125 cables.

Properties
·       Ship panel wire with a DNV approval for a maximum conductor temperature of 90°C
(DNV doesn’t approve higher temperatures), maximum 125°C in practise.
·       Used in ship and offshore installations for electrical cabling of cabinets or switchboard.
·       All materials used are halogen free, low smoke and flame retarding.
·       Available sizes from 0.75 mm2 to 185mm2.
·       Voltage rating 0.6-1kv.
·       Maximum conductor temperature of 125°C.
·       High quality, flexible class 5 tinned copper conductor.
·       XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulation with high resistance to greases and oils.
·       Special smooth surface makes installation in trunking much easier.
·       Insulation is extruded so that stripping of the wire is easy.
·       Flexible shipping cable, especially for emergency power back-up systems.
